Lisa Frauens,
Administrative Support Specialist

The Administrative Support Specialist works closely with the Associate with the Bishop for Candidacy, Roster Care, and Administration and assists other Synod Staff with administrative tasks approximately 5-hours per week.

Lisa honed her administrative skills while working as the Executive Director of a study abroad program for over 15 years. In that role, she oversaw the US operations and was responsible for program development, marketing, and student enrollment.

In 2023, she earned a Master of Divinity degree from United Lutheran Seminary in Pennsylvania, and shortly afterward, was ordained and called to serve the people of St. Timothy in Geneseo as their pastor.

Lisa enjoys working for the Upstate NY Synod and strives to model the G.R.A.C.E. Mindset.
