Church as "Wonder"-Land
transforming faith communities from a place to go expecting quick answers
to a place to be with God, each other & big questions
In the morning session, Pastor Lori Kochanski, director for faith formation of the Upstate New York Synod, will lead us in learning about how we can continue the transforming work of discipleship as we engage wonder and curiosity as key ingredients in intergenerational faith formation.
In the afternoon we will use scripture, art, song, prayer, current events, silence and story to further explore the relationship between wonder and our call as believers of Jesus’ message & mandate of love. This group experience will provide opportunity to plan possible ways you can help bring wonder to the center of your personal and communal faith life.
