The Transforming Congregations Team is offering informational workshops to congregations in the Niagara Frontier, and Genesee Finger Lakes Conferences.  For the last two years the team has offered an overnight retreat to congregations in the synod.  The team invites congregations in these two conferences to consider attending the event which will be held in October.  For congregations to learn more about the retreat and what transformation is  we invite you to a special informational event.

As baptized children of God, the Almighty Creator of the Universe dwells in each of us. His imprint is on our lives. He holds our hearts in the palm of His Hand. Sometimes, we have been doing church so long that we lose sight of this. Transformation Ministry uses scripture, conversation, and prayer to renew our awareness of those groans within which can, sometimes, be too deep for words, yet, hold the essence of all that gives us meaning and purpose. We on the team believe that God changes people, Changed people change churches and Changed Churches change the world.  Come to the workshop and find out more and discern whether or not your congregation wants to consider the Transforming Congregations tool.
